Billy Skubb BOOTH 229
Friday 15 - Sunday 17 November 2024. Our first art fair.  Our first Public Acquisition.
A Model Village by Angelina May Davis. Represented by Division of Labour

Congratulations to Angelina, whose current work takes imagery and inspiration from her grandmother's old library of books. Her library from the family home in Long Buckley houses books collected from around 1952, of specific interest to Davis, selected books which subjects range from an encyclopedia of trees to the Kays shopping catalogue have been a mainstay of Davis’ studio practice. A Model Village was acquired by The Manchester Contemporary Art Fund on behalf of the Museums Trust and Manchester Art Gallery. A Model Village will be exhibited amongst the permanent collection later in 2025.
